Hell, going through Steam games as often as i do is the ENTIRE reason i use ccleaner registry cleaner in the first place. I have one too but I run Linux on it so combined with a 128 gb low profile flash drive I have plenty of space for what I use it for. I've done it to multiple 8.1 with Bing devices.

Actually, Windows 10 also j has all drivers so you don't need a single thing from OEM. If it was the registry fix that caused this problem then CCleaner is the most ridiculously designed application ever. I had to reinstall to get the options to work for it and it still does not show in the Devices and printers at all. The only program I loaded before the problem started was CCleaner.

I can't be sure which part of CCleaner did the most damage. Why this works is unclear -- certainly, if your computer's hard drive is very full, freeing up space will help it perform faster. Cleaning the Registry can help to remove all this left over data. A search on the internet reveals network booting involves a scary world of PXEs and DHCP which I've found very hard to understand. The entire point is that programs should keep track of what THEY create and REMOVE all of it when THEY are removed. The registry cleaner is known to screw up and cause various issues and is not recommended to use by Microsoft.

You can exclude an entire drive, folder, file, or registry key. Analyze the registry manually when it is needed.
